Is working in Boulder but living in Denver reasonable?

I might be moving to Colorado from florida because my startup company is going to be headquartered in Boulder. I am young and want to live in a big city because for the past 15 years I've been living in cape coral-ft myers (small towns). Anyways if I lived in Dallas and worked in boulder, how reasonable is that?
