I just got married yesterday! But I wanna join the navy?

My wife came from El Salvador with a Visitors Visa. She will have her Work Permit, Valid Social Security number and Also a State ID withing a few month. She wont have a permanent residence til a year from now. Now I have been planning on joining the Navy but fear that once I join, my wife wont have any accommodations from the navy. If I Join the navy, should it be Now? Til she gets her work permit, SSN, State ID, Or wait til she gets her permanent residence card? or is their something else that Im missing that I should be awared about?
