Could you get in trouble in the state of missouri for recanting your statement in a domestic charge?

My fiancee and I got into a dispute and I lied on my report. But my intentions was not to get him arrested but escorted from our home. I got into a fight with some girl that he pulled up in a girl with and i blamed my injuries on him, the girl was already gone once the police came. I did go as far as recanting my statement but i was never under oath or read my rights, he does have a prior history of domestic cases so i know that the prosecutor really feels that he was capable of it, but i'm pushing forward because i dont want to see him go to jail behind a false statement also because we share a child together.I wish i could take this all back, i was just drunk and emotional. Please help.
